5:08AM - Blog post for Gilbert Grissom--Open to replies! :D

I feel like the luckiest man in Las Vegas right now. All in one day the love of my life is back and she's telling me I'm going to be a father, and Warrick's going to be okay. I felt kind of bad leaving him there, but I'm sure Catherine will take good care of him.

I wish I could say that work was going to be less heartbreaking now, though. As we dive deeper into this case, I'm more sure that we won't find who shot Warrick. I haven't given up, so to speak, but I am trying to keep my mind off of it by looking through the other case files that pile up on my desk. Eventually I am going to have to give out new assignments.

We need a lead.

Also, I guess this is my first post in my new "blog." I decided to finally get one. If nothing else, I suppose it will provide me with a way to express my irritation with Conrad.

5:56PM - First night Luna is home

It was finally time for bed in their little townhome, and Gil was quite glad for it. There'd been much to do to make sure everything was ready for little baby Luna to come home. Thankfully, all that remained now was to say goodnight to their precious daughter, turn on the baby monitors, and go to bed.

Or so he thought.

It couldn't have been more than five minutes since he slipped into bed next to Sara that the first cries came from Luna's crib. Being such devoted daddy, and wanting to let Sara rest, he got up and changed Luna's diaper. Content again, Luna drifted back off to sleep in daddy's arms, and he gently laid her back down in the crib.

No more than an hour later, Luna was fussing again.

Current mood: curious

10:28PM

Coffee. Must have my coffee. Ooh, wait. There's an arachnid on the wall. I wonder what kind? Come here, little guy, I won't hurtcha.

I walk through the crowded crime lab with my new little buddy, the arachnid, on my hand. Sure, it may creep some people out, but hey, it's just a bug. It won't hurt anyone. I wonder if Sara would appreciate it? Where'd she go now, hmm?
